King's welcomes St. Bernardine's gospel choir

October 5, 2012 – Saint Bernardine's Gospel Choir will perform a free concert of traditional gospel songs and contemporary religious compositions at King's College at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 20, and during the 11 a.m. liturgy on Sunday, Oct. 21, as part of King's “Experiencing the Arts” series.

The concert and the liturgy will be held in the J. Carroll McCormick Campus Ministry Center, located at the corner of North Franklin and Jackson streets. The performance is co-sponsored by King's Theatre Department, the Office of Diversity, and Campus Ministry.

The Saint Bernardine's Gospel Choir has performed throughout the Baltimore area, in Rome for the late Pope John Paul II, and was featured on a Palm Sunday service broadcast on NBC.
