King’s students will study abroad during the upcoming spring semester

Ten King's College students are studying in foreign countries for academic credit during the spring semester.

Sarah Costa, Shannon Rowan, and Vanessa Wagner will study at University College Dublin in Ireland. A junior majoring in marketing, Costa will study at Quinn School of Business. Rowan is a junior majoring in English and  Wagner is a sophomore majoring in physician assistant studies.

Amanda Gallagher has been awarded a full-tuition scholarship through the Irish-American Scholars Program to study at the University of Ulster in Coleraine, Northern Ireland. She is a junior majoring in psychology.

Robert Yankik has been awarded a full-tuition scholarship through the Irish-American Scholars Program to study at Queen’s University in Belfast, Northern Ireland. He is a junior majoring in political science and theology.

Jessica Krzywicki will study at Southern Cross University in Lismore, New South Wales, Australia. A senior majoring in mass communications, Krzywicki was awarded a $5,000 Endeavour Scholarship by Southern Cross University and the James Le Baron Boyle Scholarship of $1,300 by King’s College to apply toward her semester of study abroad.

Timothy Martin will study at the Shanghai University of Finance and Economics in Shanghai, China, through the Alliance for Global Education. Martin, a junior majoring in international business, has been awarded a $2,000 Alliance Scholarship to apply toward his semester of study abroad.

Megan Withrow will study through Webster University at Regent’s College in London, England. A junior psychology major, Withrow was awarded a Webster travel grant of $1,000 to apply toward her airfare.

Erin McLin will study at the Universidad de Sevilla in Spain, through Spanish Studies Abroad. She is a junior majoring in international business and Spanish.

Stephen Shovel will study at John Cabot University in Rome, Italy. He is a sophomore majoring in marketing.
